the cornerstones of all martial arts instruction at Seven Owl

A Word About Our
Competitors
For the many years that Seven Owl Dojo
has been in existence, we have strived to continue our personal
journey towards understanding our respective martial arts, as
well as ourselves - a little more each day. As we continue our
growth, some of our competitors have fallen behind in their
personal spiritual growth.
We stand firm in our belief that frauds in
the martial arts should be exposed and view it as a continuing
problem in the Charlotte metro area. We will always call to
question when someone claims to be something that they are
obviously not or makes doubtful claims about their backgrounds
and /or abilities.
And we stand just as firm when someone
tries to discourage our efforts behind our backs. Being the
best is a goal of Seven Owl Dojo but our main goal is plainly
stated: TO MAKE PEOPLE BETTER MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
It is not an abstract, meaningless, statement – it guides nearly
every decision and program that is associated with our dojo.
Standing together, we have over 100 cumulative years of
experience and training as a group.
Some of our competitors would rather
“throw mud” than continue their personal growth to be better.
As we pride ourselves in being people of honor, we will not
lower ourselves to their level to engage in such useless
practices. However, we do believe in ourselves and our programs
and we invite anyone to try our programs, and then try the
competitor’s similar programs. We are sure that you will find
the difference to be weighed heavily in our favor. And any
sensei or instructor associated with Seven Owl Dojo will be glad
to answer any questions that you may have; we feel it is our
duty to respond with honor and intelligence, not innuendo.
We pity those who have fallen off their
path due to greed or self-importance…
